What do you do at Griffin?
My business card (yes, I do have some…somewhere) says Project Manager. But, like most of the people here at Griffin, I flow between departments. Right now I’m doing a bit-o PM work and hanging with the Marketing kids.
Have you been on a road trip before?
Many. Nearly too many to count. Okay, maybe 30 or more.
Where to/from?
Growing up in Phoenix we drove to the beaches in California a lot. After high school a friend and I drove from Phoenix to Florida…in July. But, my favorite trip so far is on my motorcycle going across the US.
What vehicle?
An old Fiat, a Ford Econoline conversion van and my Honda ST1300.
Favorite Vegas act (you have or haven’t seen):
Cirque Du Soleil’s “Love”…but I wouldn’t turn down tickets to see Wayne Newton.
Favorite road trip movie:
Favorite road trip food?
Pringles, beef jerky and truck stop coffee.
What’s your must play road trip song?
My father had a cassette tape he liked to play over and over again. One side had the best of the Eagles, the other America. I won’t be playing either of those, but maybe Butterfly Boucher’s “Another White Dash”. Though, to get in the mood, sometimes I like to start each day with Kenny Loggins “Danger Zone”.
Any final remarks before we hit the road for Vegas?
Sometimes I get really horrible gas from road trip food. Or, sometimes from whatever I eat.
